The old girl was looking a bit tired ..so decided to smarten her up a bit as she was well overdue some new bits ..
So in the last week she has had new pads front and back ..she went a bit lame last Wednesday ..so successfuly bid on Ebay for some Time Roc Carbon ATAC pedals ....2 new chain rings ..no way will I ever go 1x on this old lady new cassette & chain .... Still to come a complete overhaul of the shock bearings ..and she will be ready to rock & roll on Arran next month ....closely followed by the Hodge Close Lakes ride ...still waiting for you Cannock boys to come up with a date for Bowderdale but will let the euphoria of your Welsh trip subside first
Oh and in case you missed it ..I'm also going to the far North West of Scotland in July ..and I'm allowed to take my bike ! Applecross to Kenmore & Back ..and if I'm lucky the Ben Damph Estate ride which includes a fantastic " other " drop to Annat ..
This does mean missing the Glentress weekend ..but it was all we could do to get these dates ..so apologies again ..and I'm more intimidated by the missus than you guys !
