Just been prepping the 29er HT for the c2c in a few weeks and thought I'd fit the remote lockout to the forks (Reba RLT) for the road sections. It was during this I realised that the default position for the damper is the locked position and you need to fit the remote to get them in the open position. Which means I've riding around on them for over a year locked out. Arse.
My excuse is I've got some older Reba's on my old fsr and their default position is open. Never even thought to check if the design had changed. Always wondered why they didn't feel as nice as my older fork.
Best give them a full service pronto.

Ha Ha - they changed in 2013 (I think) The lever changed as well from a poploc to a pushloc.

Well, no serious damage seems to have been done. After fitting the pushloc the forks and going for a few small test rides they still seem to function as they should. But now I have more supple forks over the smaller stuff. Which is nice.
<big sigh of relief>

Glad it's all okay - (preferred the poploc personally)
