I went with Protect My Bubble, they covered my old Five when that was stolen. Fairly cheap really. Home insurance would only cover up to £2k.
Talking of which, I really should get the Knolly covered.

Cheers mate, just got a quote with them £97 for the year... then again it seems to be the going rate. Not sure what to make of the price... car insurance isn't far off that.

wow you guys insurance is expensive , i got AA to cover both my bikes and covered for full retail and upgrades of a value of £7.5k . they are covered outside the home too so if they get robbed on trails im covered . i asked all sorts of questions and asked them about locks and sheds and they said its all covered as long as there is some kind of lock in place . i said they were in the house so maybe thats why my bikes are insured so cheeply ..from getting the lapierre to the cube swapped on the insurance the cube added £2 a month more . missis mondraker as its valued at £1000 is on normal house insurance on items valued £1500 or less .
Ive just ordered my Asgard access plus 29 so my missis can have her dining room back . i will however phone AA and tell them the bikes are now in there own cage . and will also make sure and take photos of the bikes in the asgard anchored to the slabs underneath the bike box ..
House contents insured for £75k ..it does help living in an area where you can leave back door open and nobody will come in .my car insurance is also peanuts compared to where i used to live .
£100 access on any claim though .
