i currently have a set of rock shock sprung forks on my inbred 90-130 travel ,but i am not happy with them .
i have seen a set of Fox Talas 100-140 at a reasonable price would these be to much for the Inbred if they went up to 140mm i understand that the max on one state is 120mm travel would it hurt if the 140 was used on the more rough descents , or if i never took them to 140 would it hurt the forks .
and while i am here has anyone got a good set of forks that would fit the Inbred .

exceeding the maximum recommended travel will throw the head angle geometry out and also put extra stress on the headtube with could cause it to fracture.

Good shouts they are Bob - until you can get the F/S you want - I have to tell you that for around Cannock, my Zero is an absolute blast (same kind of geom as the 456 frame). I haven't even ridden the Chief once since Snowdon - that should tell you all you need to know.
