I think I've narrowed the search for a new steed down to 3 bikes. I was looking at getting a better heard tail than I already have, but think I might be better off getting a full bouncer, so here are my current short listed 3:
VITUS Escarpe ( REVIEW )
Canyon Nerve AL7.0 ( REVIEW )
BIRD Aeris 3
All are around the £1500 mark which is my max budget (crept up from £1200.....).
Struggling with the pros & cons of each though.
The Bird is the only one I can physically test ride, I can probably ask around locally to see if I can have a blast on a Vitus or Canyon though.
Thanks

I saw an Aeris at FoD on bank holiday Monday. They're stunning frames. If I was in the market I'd be all over one of them. Get the Aeris.

Are you keeping the HT Dirk? I would if you can. I would never be without both from now on tbh - feels incomplete with either or.
I hope you get the Aeris - I'd love a goo on one. We just didn't have time to test the Zero and the Aeris when at Swinley. We did see a couple being built up in the workshop/office though and they look an absolute weapon of a bike. The Orange paint job was stunning and they do a very nice stealth black too.

Zulu - hoping to keep the HT (just need to convince the O/H lol) as a winter/family ride bike. Aeris is looking like the favourite at the moment - just need to speak to Dave/Ben about cycle scheme Liking the orange at the moment too - although the yellow is a close second (although the Lad's bike is now yellow....).

Dave especially was very 'helpful' when it came to the cycle scheme - can't see it being a problem for you.
