Late call this by Ian Bell ..meeting 6.30pm across the Dam Wall at the car park on t'other side. It's almost a re-run of the ride myself and Ian did a few weeks ago ..taking in the newly ( Will ) christened Banksies Tunnel ..and of course the only reason for going out ..the new short but sweet section to finish down to the car park off Black Belling ( yes we are complete tarts !) Myself , Ian ..and 90% Graham ! Anyone else ?
Bring lights ...Ian organised this so we could go anywhere!! Although he is talking about a pint afterwards ....

www.strava.com/activities/303987067A most enjoyable ride out on some cheeky bits along the Tyne (don't fall in!) then up to the woods including the most excellent sandy chute. Ted took some photos down there so we'll have to see what they're like. Almost all of it was new to me but it was bloody good. Hope you guys had a good ride and that section lived up to expectations.

A couple of pics of Ian & Graham ...first heading towards Black Belling...then a couple of pics at the top..is that an angel in the background on the last one ...or a Phoenix rising !?

Nice pics Neil, it was a glorious evening wasn't it? Here are a few from mine. Walter on the banks of the Tyne: Top of the sandy chute in Dipton Woods. We paused here as Ted wanted to get some photos going down the rock steps so we gave him a few minutes to set up. That is all.

Jim ..totally agree ! We spent a good 15 mins at that location just taking in the view ..which is a fantastic 360 degree panorama ..and the fading light . If we had been out long enough the night sky would have been amazing once it was completely dark . Remember to shout up when you are coming ...

The Northern Lights were out last night apparently so you could have had a real show!
