As some of you may know, I sold the Canyon as it was just that bit to short for me and I missed my Commencal. Soooooo, her is it replacement..... It's a Commencal Meta AM V4 Essential Plus in large! i've fitted my Lev seatpost with a southpaw remote and my Easton Havoc carbon bars, tomorrow i'll be fitting a Monarch Plus Debonair shock Sorry about the crap pics, will get some better ones up on Tuesday when I get a chance to go out on it.

Very nice indeed - this is on my short list, although I keep telling myself I don't need a new bike. Look forward to your review I thought they came with a Lev Integra ?

Unfortunately not, the Essential does but the Essential plus doesn't, now i'm just waiting on the Lev Integra with the black stanchions to be made available in this country

Very nice bike mate and they are so good with there pricing now . the commy is mine and missis shared bike purchase .
im buying a frame/forks/shock only and this is the frame i want as i got a complete XT/XTR gears and brakes for the build , but i also like the Neon pink Meta SX but can only be chosen in 26in and not the 650b version on the build page . i can get the Meta sx 26in frame with Bos Deville and Bos Kirk for about £1450/£1500 delivered or the V4 650b with same forks and shock for extra £200 (650b version). if i get the V4 then i would then need to purchase 650b wheels unless i used my fulcrum 26in wheels . ive been trying to decide for weeks and still cant decide ..missis likes the neon pink and because the bike will also be owned by her (shared bike) it looks like im swaying with the SX as i do like the color also .

I am now thinking of plunging in and getting both , 1 each lol , missis pink SX with vip'r shock and pikes and mine V4 in yellow and black with devilles and kirk . mine would then be a slow build as it would need gears and brakes (new XT M8000 me thinks ) . will purchase mine in a couple of months as dont want to have a frame and shock hanging about in house and will wait on getting all the XT 11 speed when its released . Yours is a real sex machine and just makes me want it more lol Congratulations , and lets hope this marriage lasts more than 5 months .

Very nice Euan! on the LEV - they already are available in this country (you do mean the black stealth post ones?). I'm getting one for the Chief when funds allow and the 'normal' LEV will go on the Zero. I'll probably buy from Bikediscount.DE but you can also get them from 'Jungle' in this country. Jungle products

It's the best lever that I have used to date, I falls right where your thumb sits on the bars

I like the look of the integra from bikediscount.de as don't like it when reverb needs bleeding and most of all the play in the top .I looked at thomson stealth version but it's just stupid money at over £300 .

Feels so much better built than the Reverb, action is smoother, no play in the saddle and lever feel better than the Reverb. Also being cable actuated one less thing to go wrong.
I'll never go back.

I like both the Lev and the Reverb, I've had more issues with the Lev than I have with the Reverb however, it is far easier to install an integra Lev than it is a Stealth Reverb and the Southpaw remote is just fantastic to use

Having had both I would disagree re the lever, it was the one thing that let the KS range down for me. The Southpaw on the other hand would now make make it a viable option again.

that looks to have a really slack head, should go downhill like a rocket. I think if I was on the market for a new ride I`d deffo be checking out the commie range.

S'all about opinions mate - didn't you have the supernatural though? maybe they have 'tweaked' the LEV DX lever but it's just so easy to use, not much in it I suppose but from being a bit sceptical about having a cable actuated dropper I'm now a fan. When we ride together next you'll have to have a goo, see what you think. I think probably the biggest point though is no bleeding.
