I might be out somewhere, as a warm up ride for hodgy's ride,but don't know yet,might just do one from home and it might be a spur of the moment thing.gaz if you fancy it sometime I could show you some excellent riding on totley moor and stanage edge on the outskirts of Sheffield.

You are braver than me, I feel queezy just looking at the picture.
I remember lying on the beach dozing off after a couple of lunch time beers and guy nearly took me out landed in a right heap just in front of me kicking sand up all over us. Used to big business in that area.

Might have to count me out Gaz - If Monday is no good just found out I'd promised to take my lad out on the bikes on the Tuesday and back at work on Weds night.

I've got plenty on at present (boat engine needs work, brakes to fix, sister on holiday and mother in nursing home etc) but I'll watch this thread and might join a ride at short notice.
BTW All the signs on the M1 and M6 today warned of heavy traffic Monday due to the rail strike so Cannock might be a better bet...?

Hi chaps after today local evening ride which was going so well  sun was out trails were dry'ish , well a bog in some placers .. Lol www.strava.com/activities/308405983Any way dropping down repton shrubs , cracking bit of single track roots n twisty but can be quite fast and narrow in places .. Any way the sun was low so wasn't going mad , when I came round the corner in to the sun bang could not see anything and I'm picking my self up after checking to make sure nothing felt Broke ... Looked on strava think I was only doing 16.5 mph which was steady down there lol  Sorry if I scare the kids with my not so nice mug shot ....  Glad I had my helmet on ... But Sod's law I didn't bother with my knee pads or arm pads .. Arms ripped up a bit knees took a good pounding lol twisted my ankle as well Think one will be a tad sore tomorrow , with wot looks like to black eyes and a right bruise on my slap head .. Any way as I'm due to get married a week on Saturday ... She's put her foot down and said no Mtb ..... For one week .... Fk ......  |

Can't be hobbling down the aisle with buggered legs and shit.. Maybe we should tag onto Hodgy and Zulu's ride in June/July? I think it's just an idea at the moment but might be worth keeping an eye out for! |
