Rapid uphill !!!! never thought i'd be going for Strava pb's going uphill hahaha but Scouty pedals so well and easy it's really easy on the legs when goin up i couldn't help myself, goin down is where the fun is at though, always will be |

Weeeeellll actually wen't over the bars on super steep hahaha, seriously i did, i don't think i had the new fork dialled in for the steep stuff,not enough compression, I felt it dive rolling off a big root and i guess i touched the front brake just at the wrong time, still, absolutely no complaints whatsoever, my legs used to cramp up with the effort i put in when climbing on the Dune but i felt very fresh yesterday, not so dead legs at the end of the ride, bike felt really quick, maybe a touch more air in the shock and maybe try out more compression on the fork and i'll have it sorted ...1x11 is the dogs danglies John |

Sounds like you have had a load of fun already Kev ..really chuffed that it's living up to expectations ..as for chucking you off ..it's still just a pup ...you should look for some bike obedience classes around your way ...

I'm off on holiday this week too and kinda gutted i couldn't ride it as i'm committed to taping duties for the EWS, ah well it's not all take take take, gotta give a little back sometimes, I'm spoiled with the trails i ride for virtually nowt so i'm happy to give back  |
