I wanted to do a shuttle day of the enduro stages around punta ala and downhills of the bandit park.
However you need minimum three people and so far not been able to tag on with anybody.
So set out for some xc mainly fa tracks and forest roads. Rode around 14 miles to an official cross country race route but it was chained up so had to find my own way.
Hired some model of orbea handrail that was set up crap with rubbish slippy narrow tyres pumped up like a road bike and seat post that was so long it wouldn't drop from max height.
Anyhow nice ride and good to get one in as I haven't had chance since the beginning of the month

Cheap forks, rattling loose chain, must have weighed somewhere in the 14lga and no rear bounce. Made me miss my own bikes but still had a good time. Shit myself on a steep rocky section mind being perched so high on top of this skittish bike. |

Riding the handrail as Paul pointed out ...is a typing error in your original post .
The word prediction facility on your smartphone has substituted " hardtail " for " handrail "
I thought it was quite funny too until I had to explain the joke ! Lol

Thanks hodgy I did get Pauls message. Typing on a mobile with ultra slow tinternet during the kids disco.
Was an orbea hardtail, very heavy but not very stiff.
