never thought i would run into this problem but i have found a very nice and light crankset i really really like . But im pretty sure i need to change my bottom bracket . My BB is a press fit shimano thats using a M785 crank converted to a single narrowide . and all i know is is that the frame is 100mm wide . no idea about diameter without taking crank arm off . now the crankset i want does not even come with its own bottom . www.wiggle.co.uk/ethirteen-trs-race-direct-mount-narrowwide-ring-chainset/can someone point me in the right direction on which bottom bracket i need and a tool to take out the current bottom bracket .

You'll need a press-fit 30mm BB. Your current one won't take 30mm spindles. To get it out, hit it with a hammer. To put a new one in, hit it with a hammer. CRC HopeCRC RotorCRC Raceface

If you want the Raceface one, it'll be either the PF30 73 or the PF30 83 depending of the width of your BB shell. No worries, happy to help.

100mm bb? I take it it's a fat bike? Haha nah measured it wrong mate . Not got a clue what I'm doing with bottom brackets never fitted one or took one out ..will soon learn though if I end up buting the new crank . Not sure if I want to keep it all shimano and get the new XT 8000 crank to go with by XTR gear and brakes .the new xt crank looks better than the XTR crank ..but then I like the XX1 crank and the e13 TRS race .

The 11 speed Shimano XT will pretty much, be the leading groupset on the market! Just as XT is now! It's the most popular group set on the planet.
