Well I've finally got my Scalp finished today and I'm over the moon with how it's turned out. Can't wait to get out on it and give it some abuse. Full spec is: 2014 Nukeproof Scalp Rockshox Kage RC Marzocchi 380 C2R2 Mavic EX721 on Hope hubs Schwalbe Magic Mary DH Saint Crank/36t chainring Saint chain device and bash Saint rear mech Saint shifter Shimano dura ace 11-28 cassette Saint brakes with 203mm rotors both ends Chromag direct mount stem Chromag fubars 780mm Chromag Lynx DT saddle Thomson seatpost Lizard skin Peaty grips Shimano DX pedals I'm pleased with the spec, just think the shock lets it down. If needs be I'll replace it at a later date, but for now I'm just gonna enjoy it for the summer. Here's the all important pics

Really like the scalp frames. I fancy picking one up.
I'm struggling to find the time to ride just full stop at the minute

If you do decide on taking a fall Stu ...MetLife insurance pay out on broken bones ! I have a £ 6.00 a month policy which covers quite a bit of damage ... Just if you fancy a tumble or two like ..it's worth looking into ! Sweet machine ..I'd like it more if I had large enough testicles to ride downhill !

Cheers Neil, fortunately I have a good private health scheme at work and personal accident insurance. Hopefully neither of which will be needed

Lovely bike - very jealous...... but.... but.... a roadie cassette!?! (Yes, I know it's for the reduced range but still: ) Also, how the hell do you get plugs into those sockets without knackering the cable coming out the plug? .... .... .... I've been spending too much time on STW...

I've been spending too much time on STW... Don't worry, having a roadie cassette will be the closest I'll ever get to owning a road bike. Beats me why Shimano don't do a DH specific Saint cassette Lol, As for the sockets, blame the person who rewired the house as they left next to no loose cable to get the bloody things any higher
