So had the cube now for 2years and on rides lately I am grabbing a lot of lever to slow down, and they could be pulled a bit before anything happened. So dropped the bike in to mechanic at trail centre the other day to get the fluid replaced. £10 front and rear, bargain and better than me fannying about with them. Anyway, picked it up today all sorted and headed off for a spin and was told the were 'quite sharp' now so take it handy.......jesus.....if I look at the brakes now they come on.......quite sharp......very bloody sharp OTB here I come. Anyway I reckon I am way quicker now as I am terrified to go anywhere near them, I just ride through things I would of dabbed the brakes at, ( i have a bad habit of braking when its not really needed as i shit my pants ) anyway got the hang of them after a bit and did post a few pb's on strava. . A tenner and it feels like I have new brakes, should of got them serviced ages ago.
Just saying like

Haha..
I'd love to ride without brakes just to show myself how much I use them unnecessarily.
