good ride today. more scenic than technical but with some nice singletrack that you don't get in some of the peak district. quite busy out there today............I love being friendly and polite to people when they don't want you to be  don't get me wrong most are fine but theres some miserable sods out there........even a mtber coming the other way looked at me like shit..............ah well  1. wellingtons monument 2 heading for curbar edge

cleaned another climb for the first time today.it dunt look much but its a challenge.in fact not doable in wet winter conditions 1. tried to celebrate the climb but got my pedal tangled up round me knackers 2. that's better

Unfortunately I know what you mean ..we had a similar occasion on Saturday gone ..one of those ski stick walkers heading towards us ..every one of us greeted him with a cheery hello ..which he just totally ignored until Russell said " Hello Nick " ..turns out it was his local vet ..then he was all chat ..at least to Russell .
The rest of us just cycled off ..you only get one chance !
