I read about the accident on Facebook!
Believe it or not, people were moaning because a race/event had to be cancelled (due to the accident).
Thoughts go out to her family and friends but, as you mentioned, my sympathy also goes out to the poor sod who crashed!

Bloody hell very sad news
remember when mate mates other half was hit by a quad we was both racing in .. Luckily she was ok after a few days in hospital Broken hand etc but was lucky to be alive

Sad,sad news.i was talking to the guy involved when i was at farmer johns a couple of weeks ago.as expected he's in absolute pieces. I can't imagine how the girls family and friends feel  |

There was a crash similar at the SDS at Glencoe a few months ago. Luckily nobody was seriously hurt however it shows that anything can happen.

Just found out today that the young woman who was killed was the girlfriend of a work colleagues who was competing on the day. Tragic accident and my condolences go out him and her family.
