So today, I've done a lower leg service on the Pikes on the Chief, also serviced the headset, swapped the dropper and topped up the HD's with Stans - all in time to get down the pub for 2.  No big deal for some but for me, working purely off Yow Toob and my first time - I'm chuffed. Now to test it around the Dog tomorrow and hoping I don't die. |

It sure is mate, that annoying crack/creaking noise has gone too, forks feel like new again and it really was much easier than I thought.

Fair play mate I love doing my own mechanicals yeh I might be a lot slower than the shop but the satisfaction you get when it's done and you ain't just handing over a shed load of cash

On a scale of 1 to 10, how hard was it. Will like to do my forks and shock later in the year, and would rather do them myself than send them off

I'd honestly say...as long as you keep referring back to the MBR vid...4/10. That's the forks though - haven't attempted the shock yet so I have no score to give on that.
