Yes mate - found out last Tuesday - behind the cafe is ok though still but a shame about the other run.
BTW Jay has found some great new cheekies - and I mean great - need to get a ride together so you can see them, that's if you don't already know them of course.
We are riding next Sat morning if that's any good?

Great stuff - you can update us on your peg leg. I usually meet Jay on the canal in Town at 9.30 with Eurobob - so meet you up there at 10ish? Will Will be at Marquis drive?  |

Anyone is welcome off here Jay mate, we won't be doing any marked trails though, just cheeky ones, the marked trails are way to busy at weekends. We might stop and watch people fall off at stegosaurus for a bit though |

Hmmm, okay Dunc, your post sounded just like a lads whose just deleted off here  and with you only just having joined it rang bells. You live local then? See you Saturday - either at Birches valley or up at Marquis drive. Won't be a massive ride, 20 miles ish?, but will involve some climbing and some fairly technical, unofficial single track which is pretty steep (up and down) in parts. If you want to PM me with your number in case you can't make it or I can't and I'll give you mine in return. |

I think I may bale on this Saturday Pez. I've not had a day out this year and I fancy the Long Mynd, really enjoyed it last year - besides Dunc owes me a cuppa for giving him my place at Snowdon. I'll confirm Friday if that's okay.

Sorry mate ..but I thought I had already said that it was just a tad too far ...( first reply on the thread in the forum ride section) Hope you have a great day though... I have read fantastic reports about the place in mags ..but it would probably have to be a road trip with a few others from up here and staying down for at least a couple of nights ...one day though before I pop my clogs ! Ps ..I live a lot further in the far northern wilds of NW Northumberland ..beyond the wall ( winters coming!) |
