Yes, I know Google is my friend but sometimes it's best to ask.
I'm beginning to do a U turn on droppers. The cheapest LEV of the type I want is about £250 and I'm starting to think I might give the Reverb another chance, as they are so much cheaper (God help them if this fecks up too). I have a Lev on the Bird but will need another dropper for the Chief - A) as back up and B) as I can't be arsed to keep swapping the LEV onto whichever bike is being rode.
Anyone?

My KS eTen is pretty decent. Would think any of their ones are up with the Lev.

My reverb is in the shop at the moment. It is a simple fix that could've been prevented by having it serviced. Not bad for 2 years old

So was that all it was in the end Ste? just a service missed? I'm guessing a seal had gone?
I think I was just unlucky - I'm going to give em another go. I know loads of you lads who haven't had a problem with them. The Bikediscount.de prices do seem to be the best, didn't really want to buy from Germany but that is a bargain.

He said it was a fairly common fault. A bolt near the top had worked loose causing the oil to leak out. It would've been spotted and sorted when servicing. The German's price is too good to turn down Pez. If mine would have been more expensive to fix I would probably have bought a new one to get the full warranty again

I'm intrigued mate - how long have you had it? any play in the saddle/post? do you find it gets a bit rammed with muck because of the design? I'm not a fan of the cable at the front but I AM a fan of the price! For less than £90 this could be an ideal back up - do you notice the extra weight much? it is a bit of a chubber! Any good/bad points? basically - giz a review!

Better than Germany? Wiggle
CRC and Evans doing it for the same - with cashback it'll come down to £180 - tempted but also tempted by the KS E ten for £89!

I paid £180 for mine from wiggle about 2 months ago, looks like they have crept up in price abit.

I'm on that topcashback site though and going through them I get 5.25% cash back - which is about £180. Good price for a Reverb but I'm not sure I want a hydraulic cable again. Don't think I'm paying £250 for a LEV though so it's the Reverb or the heavier and less travel (but cheap!) E ten.

Good price but shame it's only 100mm drop. I feel like I'd need more than that. I've never had a dropper though but usually I drop my saddle pretty much as low as it can go, halfway down or have it in the fully extended position so I don't think 100mm would cover all of that

This is for the Chief, which is my Wales, Lakes, Peaks etc bike so I'm just not convinced that 100mm is enough either, could do with trying one tbh. The weight doesn't bother me one bit as a good trump can lose me a pound before a ride anyway.

Only had it fitted for 3 weeks. Seems ok - tiny bit of play (rotational) in saddle but only a couple of mm. Hasn't got massively gunked up yet - cleaned the mud off from last week and seems ok still. Can't say as I notice the weight. The Supernatural (I think) has a guard covering the workings to stop crap getting on it. I got it as I wanted to try a dropper and didn't want to spend £100's on one. Quality wise it seems well built, and being steel shaft & open bath damper obviously built to a budget. Does what I want it to do. Here's a Pinkbike review from a couple of years back: m.pinkbike.com/news/Tested-KS-ETen-Seatpost-2013.htmlIf I was getting another I wouldn't hesitate - but might not be everyones cuppa tea. Alex @ Chase Skills has the Supernatural and that seems to be really good too.

Great shout - what a bargain. Wrong size for me though and I must have the remote too. Bloody great way to try a dropper though.

Shame, if that was a 30.9 i would have got it... £30 for a dropper is crazy!

Hmmmmmm So am I but I'm leaning towards the reverb I must admit, maybe when I see one(an E ten on Dirks bike) it'll persuade me to give it a goo. If not it'll be a reverb just trying to make sure they come with a bleed kit - some confusion on the Wiggle and CRC site!

The one I had from Wiggle didn't have a bleed kit
