I've never been a Marzocchi fan and I was very surprised by the amount of people who seem 'gutted' by the news in the original post.

A lot of people are gutted, I loved my 350CR until it seized and I ended up having to buy a Pike to be able to keep riding at any point. I feel a lot of people liked them as a niche brand, but not really wanting them on their own bikes preferring to go with RockShox/Fox in the main part.

From my motorbiking days I used to rate them, I didn't even know they did MTB forks too until recently.

Had some Bomber's on my Gary Fisher Big Sur ..never let me down ..still going strong too ..my dad is riding the bike ( he's nearly 79 !)
