I'm new to the forum and have just noticed that I'm member number 200.. Surely that means I get a carbon Santa Cruz Bronson as a prize!?
I live, work and ride in the West-Midlands and have done for a fair few years. I've been here and there riding including the Peak District and a few places in Wales.
I ride purely for fun.. I'm not concerned with staying fit and all that rubbish.
Anyway... Rather than ramble on, it might be easier just to answer any questions you might have.
I hope to make this place my internet home and look forward to joining a few of you on a ride in the future.
Thanks

There is absolutely no-one else here from the West Midlands or thereabouts.. at least so it seems from your replies so far I'm another Northumbrian, at least by choice if not by birth (which was also a long time ago), but as a comparative newbie mtb-er I've not yet done any riding south of Yorkshire. Welcome to the small but beautifully formed little forum that we call home. Hope we all meet up somewhere in the fullness of time.

Hello BOT, I'm also a West Midlander (well a Brummie actually so far superior to the normal Yammers) welcome to the forum!

My questions are - which would freak you out more? - horse sized ducks or duck sized horses?
Also, do you think a new bike should come with a pump?

Thanks for the welcome all.. As for the questions, tough one. I guess with duck sized horses, I'd have a little less shit to avoid!?
And no, a bike shouldn't come with a pump.

The way I see it is, why should you get a pump with your bike If I don't get a spare wheel with my car...... Different but the same!

Hello and welcome to the forum Beans. I normally ride at Cannock Chase with my lads as it's the nearest trail centre to me.

Hi beans on toast, welcome to the forum. I too am another midlander and can often be found falling off my bike around the chase or wyre forest
