the other fella was me, and I didn't fall off not even once... despite not being able to even see the ground underneath our wheels for much of the time as it was either 2 foot deep heather or six foot high bracken, this all just added to the fun of course! CBM cresting another long heathery slog up bridleway (i suppose..) past Old Botany farmstead. Looking north to Ros Castle and Ros Castle woods at horizon. Same place looking east with Bamburgh Castle (just to right of left-most mast) and the North Sea in the distance.. just between the land and the sky, honest! Looking west, Cheviot and Hedgehope Hill in showery clouds which never made it as far as us Up here all roads lead to Blawearie, this is us heading south towards the ruined steading which we passed about 4 times.. Cairn and Blawearie behind Colin in the bracken down through some woods off Harehope hill A very good day... thanks Colin.

Great photos Graham - how do you get them on to forum? Did the initial write up that way as felt guilty as hadn't posted it on forum with invite to all to attend - usual crap forward planning! As Phoenix Grum ( this will be your new born again name) has arisen see you at Grizdale!
