lidl had been advertising an upcoming offer on high5 tabs @ £2.99,starting today.i asked the Mrs to get me 4 tubes as i was running low and they were cheaper than crc. imagine my surprise when she rang me from the shop to tell me they were doing boxes of 8 tubes @ £2.99  I said she must be mistaken but she`d already had a member of staff do a price check and they were indeed scanning @ £2.99. "get me 4 boxes before they realise their mistake" I yelled  32 tubes x £2.99 = £95.68 rrp according to crc is £6.99 per tube = £223.68 so,for a bargain price of £11.96 I`ve got these

Bloody hell!
I remember paying about £7 for one tube before from my LBS! Thats a cracking deal you've got yourself... If im right, you've got yourself enough for 480 liters!

come on neil,since when did people our age take any notice of use by/best before/consume by dates? if it looks and smells ok just eat it,if it`s got a bit of mould on just cut it off and eat it. I think I was 14 years old before we got our first fridge,nobody ever got food poisoning in t`owd days
J,i wish I`d got the Mrs to buy the entire stock,i`d have made a fortune reselling em on ebay. |
