Terribly sad news from pink bike and other sources that there as been a fatality during one of the stages of the EWS. Apparently fellow competitors attempted resus for 30 minutes to no avail. Needless to say this rounds been cancelled.
Such a fine line these lads and lasses tread in their pursuit of their passion.

From what i've read it was a local guy just probably riding his local trails like he's probably done loads of times...just like we all do but in a race format...maybe entered just to race against his mates and in the bat of an eyelid it all goes pear shaped
I've entered one at the end of the month for the very same reasons, my first ever, it makes you think though.....what if ?
I'll be riding within my limits thats for sure

Enduro World Series
There are no words that do justice to the sadness we are feeling today. In honour of Will and his family and to stay strong together as a close community of incredible people we will ride out together from the event village at noon today. We hope to see everyone in Crested Butte come out and support each other through this emotional time.
