So after a lot of faffing about with my son's Cube I ended replacing the caliper, discs and pads front and back to get rid of the squeal. All was good for 2 rides and then the rear brake started doing it again . I can't see any residue or leaking oil and it hasn't been washed or got lube/oil on the disc so can't see how it has happened. Must be honest I am really cheesed off with it to be fair, i was too busy to do the previous work so parts and minimal labour have already cost me £120! Any ideas?

loosen the caliper bolts and and then adjust the caliper to center the disc between the pads (center the disc by eye) , once centered then hold onto the caliper and retighten the caliper bolts a little at a time alternating between the bolts... you can check disc centering and then do a final nip up of the bolts...

Is the hose in good condition, could be leaking, so could the pistons, ever so slightly, or maybe its chain lube or the bike wash thats causing it
If new pads and rotors have been installed (at the same time) then it must a leak or contamination from lube e.t.c
How is the braking power, is it still like normal or drastically reduced?

Have you tried putting some Copper slip on the backs of the pads. This reduces the vibration.

What pads are you using. I find dirty rotors to be quietest, so never clean them, a bike mechanic told me long ago to rub fine muddy silt on the rotors and brake a few times, works like sand paper and stops squeaking when I get it, worst on sintered pads I find.

Cheers guys will try your recommendations. Brakes are Shimano Deor, 446 I think off the top of my head. It does brake but not as it should. The only thing I didn't double check was the hose but everything else was replaced. The pads are OEM ones which came with the new caliper.
