Just got in from another excellent ride with the gang, me Ingrid ,Dave, Jean, Colin, Jacko Graham and Russell turned up fo 24 miles of a bit of everything, even the rain stayed away and a nice coffee and cake to finish off in Rothbury. Brilliant crack as usual cheers everyone

Great chilled ride Ant some nice single track too, none of which I've ridden before. Despite dire forecasts only a drop or two of rain. Russell nearly missed the start but he flew in after being held up on A68 behind a horse box. Maybe cafes are the way to go to replace all the calories burnt off, the Mars bar cripy cake I had was delicious.
So thanks Ant for showing us the way.

Not for me Dave ..don't mind a mid ride cafe stop ..but even if I'm drinking alone it's the pub for me after a ride !

Thanks Ingrid and that other one who, misguided soul, you have lead to believe is in charge for a fantastic ride today Best I have done in the area and I am a local. Great social ride with great fun all round - just what our group is all about Kirky - listen and learn - - we will convince you have fall of your bike and eat / look at the views stops as we have done with Formula One Russell Sorry missed tea and cakes but made up for this with embarrassing amount of replenishment food and rehydration beer at wedding Roll on the next one

Ingrid was saying last night how much she enjoys coming out with the group and we are both a bit disappointed we won't get back out until October due to other commitments.

After next weeks ride it will be the 12th September before my next Saturday ride ..will have to try for a mid-week day ride or a night ride ..

Yep, this was another great day out. And I like that it was more than just a bike ride, even though that was good enough to have been good enough. It had fast swoopy fun, rocky adventure, a lost trail, purple honey scented heather, sweeping cheviot views, and very good crack. It's good Ingrid is having a great time, hope you both manage to make it out as often as possible. We missed you Neil of course, and even though the post ride cafe is a bold new move, I could get used to it. It has the considerable advantage of keeping my driving license intact.
