Howdo Lofty...
I've just sent an email around our group to possibly do this ride on the 19th September ...and was going to post it as a forum ride once I had received word back from them .
We did a ride there about 3 weeks ago which Ant took us around and I rated it as the best ride I had done in 18 years of mountain biking ..and we only touched a tiny bit of the man made trails which were tame in comparison to the utter rocky madness that we were on ..can't make this Saturday but look out for my post going up ...you don't want to miss this version it's incredible !

You met Ant and myself at Hamsterley last year ..

Hodgy, after getting home tonight I have been informed it is my father in laws 80th birthday party on the 12th so I,m afraid I can't lead the ride until the second weekend in October but I will bring my book when we go to Rothbury on Saturday and I will show you the ride
