looking at the forecast this morning and the rain that was forecast for the Cheviots I headed down to Hamsterley. Had a cracking good time even if I did fall off twice - my foot came off the pedal at the bottom of the bombhole on Special K as it wasn't on properly: cue comedy emergency dismount to avoid the tree on the left and on the sodding skills loop where I was going too fast and was still leant over on the sodding wooden bridge at the top just after a corner and whooosh: bye grip, hello ground. www.strava.com/activities/378816576Obligatory bike photo at the top of Transmission:  That's twice in 2 weeks I've been now after a looong gap. Last time I went before last week was before they'd built transmission, etc. Anyone know the story behind the disney characters (snow white & the 7d's) on Section 13? |

Yeah ..apparently she was taken into the forest by a huntsman on the instructions of the Queen who was told to kill her as she was jealous of her beauty ..but he couldn't bring himself to do it and she ended up living with these short fellows ..Disney do a good animated film if you want the full story though...
