Yeh Darwen sounds good, should we meet at the royal then, I'm struggling to make out the detail well enough from the map but it looks like the route I showed you a good while back, out around the witton weavers back in through Darwen and over the tower and down,

Royal at 9.30 then?
It's a similar route I think but up to the tower first then along the tops to the Strawberry Duck pub
Anyone else fancy coming along?

Yeh, if it's passing the strawberry duck it pretty much the reverse. I'll be interested to see how it hoes from the tower to bypass what could be a long hard slog up the road we normally whistle down befor climbing the tower when done anti clockwise.

I will try and get there but not sure yet. Just a warning though if you are following that route down from the royal and then across the reservoir to climb up front of tower, the road across the reservoir has been closed for a few weeks. I was up there about a month ago and couldn't get across. Best way I can describe it is where you drop down the path with lots of cobbles and water bars to come out on the reservoir. As you look at the map the blue point proximate ly north east.

Good but hard ride today after a week taking it relatively easy.
Had to call in the cafe on the royal car park for some emergency carrot cake (the best I've ever had).
Cheers Gaz see you soon.

Yeh I left it on my bike and stuck it on the roof, couldn't be bothered or have the energy to take it back off.
I ve not stooped eating all day, started to get a carb overdose head ache, after carrot cake, triple sandwhich and crisps at the services, milkshake, couple of cookies at Tesco, Paella with wedges, profiteroles, couple of beers.
Shit I better get back out there tomorrow.
