Your mate Marmite ..reckons 8.30 -9.00ish on the previous page ... Anyone else think he's got an incontinence problem ...and rather than change the sheets he just gets up ..I mean if his bladder hasn't shrunk in proportion to the rest of him ..something's gotta give .. Up at 4.00am on Saturday to travel to the Lakes ..AND it was noted that he was wearing waterproof trousers for the first time which were tied at the ankles .. Makes you wonder ..haha !

I don't think I'm going to be able to make this now. Just been checking air pressures so I'm not fiddling with them when I get there and the air valve on my shock has somehow shreded it's threads and won't hold pressure.. Looks like I'm out of riding for a while

I don't have the £250 in my account, and I heavily doubt they have any left now, let alone big enough to fit me!

Fk is that how much it cost my medium spesh to small for you mate WAAY too small, XL frames are kinda small tbh! Cheers for the offer though! I'm trying to sort something out through a mate who works at an LBS, failing that, I take out a £500 loan, go to BPW and hope they have a FOx X2 in stock that'll fit the bike.. seems unlikely though. And expensive.

Yeah, I'm absolutely gutted. A mate has a Chilcotin which is the same length, just a different stroke, shouldn't make too much of a difference so I may be saved, he's checking if they'll work tomorrow.

7.875" x 2.25" - Not 100% sure on stroke though.

Yeah, they probably are. Just gutted about this tbh, been pumped for it for the last month! Glad I found out now, and not just as I land a drop..
I've also posted on BPW's FB page asking if they have anything in stock to fit. If they do, all hope may not be lost, I'll just be turning the car park into a work shop.

Hope you get sorted Seb, haven't met you yet and this will be the last chance for a while as I won't be doing any riding away from Cannock after this till well into the New Year. Wish I had a spare shock but haven't, I'm afraid.

Well I've popped down to the LBS, they've managed to kind of get it sorted, but the valve has somehow shredded some of the threads. It's loctite'd in place and holding pressure at 170PSI, may just need a little top up tomorrow, but it does means I'll be at BPW tomorrow

Glad you got sorted mate, I wouldn't tinker with it tomorrow in case you dislodge something and lose pressure. You won't need it too firm to climb and I doubt you'll blow through until you hit the deep blacks. May be better one the smaller chatter.

Chuffed Seb! I've just been checking my fork and shock pressures ahead of tomorrow - I normally don't touch em, glad I checked though, the Pikes were at 150 and the rear shock on 200! I must have been proper pissed when I did check em last! Just goes to show that to a shit rider, pressure settings are superflous, I've been riding it for 3 months minimum on those settings and didn't notice a thing! Set the front on 90 and the rear at 240 and it's showing between 20/25% sag on both now, on the 'downhill' setting on the Debonair and on the Pikes. Can't wait now, I love the idea of no pedalling tomorrow, especially the state my fitness is in. Just wish I could find my balls for this trip - still think it'll be Blue/Green only for this badass!
