Pez ...you are easily a " red " man all day long ....but not having been there I don't know how they grade things ...
I wouldn't disrespect anything blue though ..some of the best flowing trail sections at Glentress and even Kielder for that matter are on blue graded trails ...and it was only a week or so ago that we had a lot of fun on the Grizedale blue ..ask Gaz ...

I think (I've been told) that the BPW reds are Cannock blacks, the BPW Blues...Cannock reds. I'll soon find out!
Got knee, shin, elbow pads and a good open face lid (the Bern) but I'm not going there to get fecked up, work the day after. I'll start on the babby trails and then maybe try a cautious red, gonna be fun but don't want to be regretting it - age and the caution it brings is a bummer at times.

Hope you get sorted Seb, haven't met you yet and this will be the last chance for a while as I won't be doing any riding away from Cannock after this till well into the New Year. Wish I had a spare shock but haven't, I'm afraid. He's back woohooo he still loves us the big villa fan    |

You'll love the blues, very swoopy, nothing technical, few places.to get some air but no gaps.
Red get a little tighter, more technical, rollable gap jumps but nothing major, few smallish drops.
I'll hopefully warm up on a few blues them smash down the reds.

So, we're meeting at CF48 4TT for around 9am??? That's the one. It's left at a roundabout (if you come off of the M4 and head north up the A470), small little sign and then head up the hill. Sat navs are usually pretty decent for finding it. See you all around 9am! |
