Get yer lights out lads (and indeed, lasses). Today, I are mostly been charging up my night ride lights. As I am off for 15 days now I have to find a way of keeping myself out of the battle cruiser in the afternoons, so.... whichever night anyone fancy's next week apart from Friday ( that's pub day ) Monday 21st till Thursday 24th - anyone fancy one or even two of those for a night ride? I'm too scared to go alone, black eyed girl, pigman etc etc..... Edit - Monday is a definite with beansontoast in attendance and an obligatory cheeky one at the Horns post ride. May do one on the Thursday too, if anyone is interested - I really fancy new lower cliff in the dark!

Did my first ride with lights last night. Went dark really quickly. Didn't do anything too technical - mainly blue and a couple of easy cheekies.

Having had an exploratory ride out with Gaz and not re-broke my ankle I might manage a ride round Cannock over the next week or so. If I get away with that I'll chance a Peaks ride with Glynn.

Yeah, that's how it's gone for me tbh. Still love the Chief but the Bird is more of a challenge to ride Cannock on. Chief makes everything too easy!

Well we did the Dog plus tacked on upper and lower cliff - met a couple of lads halfway round who were first timers so we sort of guided them around it - it was a bloody great blast and for anyone who HASN'T got lights and done this - do it. It's like riding a new trail. My new light cost me 17 English pounds and was like a car high beam, there is no reason not to do it. I shall be doing these night rides regular from now on so anyone who fancies it - I'll post up on here when they are on. That is all..

It was another good ride. I love how being in the dark somehow makes you faster. I felt like Gee Atherton!
Once again, the weather was spot on for us.. A good night!!

Yes, true. I've got a spare battery and a light now which is a comfort, tbh.
