Having tried one at the recent Kielder 101 ...fun ..but I wouldn't like to go too far on one .. Edit : it was one of the spot prizes and I only did a very short circuit around the castle ..don't want to send out the wrong kind of message!

I personally don't have a fat bike but my mate Stompy has, he has just emailed me the following info about his bike....
"it takes loads of hard rides to sort legs out to match a fat bike...not like getting a new mtb and of ya go...really takes some doing to make bike work... got my fatty around Kirroughtree red in the 60min mark..well happy with that time..."
hope this helps....
