Yeah was a nice run out tbh steady pace and no serious injurys so all good!
Off out again this afternoon to drum hill and robin woods tomorrow haha so gonna be tired!

Riding the marked trails at the weekends is always like that - way too much traffic. I'm lucky being a shift worker and get to have the trails virtually to myself in the week. Normally weekends we just do cheeky trails and don't bother with the Donkey.

Yes you'll be welcome too. I know a few - all learned off Mr Beansontoast. He knows the forest like the back of his hand, some great runs out there ..Riff Raff caff, Double Helix, Spooky Woods, Twigs N logs, Top to Bottom - to name but a few. We'll get summat sorted before the weather turns proper shoite, as many of them get like bogs in the wet weather.

I'm busy on summat else this weekend but I've noticed you're local and will bear that in mind. Have a good time at Morley/Drum Hill. BTW I wouldn't mind a ride round Black Rocks in a week or two. I've got a decent route round black rocks and riber  |

Only two cars but they are both going. Gaz just not concentrating, doing the Donkey with workmates, at the top of lung buster we stopped, I just sort of overbalanced and got the side of my shin impaled on a bloody post in the ground, l didn't even fall off the bike. I could feel this wood going in but couldn't do feck all about it. Well pissed off, the most stupid and pointless injury I've ever had. Cannock is cursed I tell thee!.. |

You remember that conversation we had on the way up the Heritage trail to Birches from mine? where I pointed out where that chap had committed suicide last summer and I said it had been reported he had been 'seen' by locals since his death in that field?...and we both chuckled about the fact people had claimed to have seen him as we passed the spot?..... You break your elbow that very ride, next ride out I spear my leg. I wish we hadn't have had that convo now.  |
