So as I was slowly going stir crazy following the physio's instructions and not really being too enamoured of the old tarmac for my riding fix ( told to keep away from off-road ) ..I kind of bent the rules a little bit and found myself some nice quiet roads devoid of vehicles ..,    Nice forest fire roads ... |

 Believe it or not there is a bridleway that starts here!   After all that road riding ..a treat to end ..one of my favourite b/w drops in Northumberland ....    The knee doesn't feel too bad ....yet ! Fitness ...went south when I opened the car door .... |

Well ....got to admit that if I did get dark thoughts about something with drop bars ..then that would be the way I would go ...skinny smooth tyres ..that just ain't happening brother ...

He did a marathon series race at Kielder a few years back that I was marshalling ..didn't want to be recognised ...

Had my first Physio season today so hoping to work hard at it and get back out on the bike soom .
It will be mostly light riding with a little fire roads if I can manage it would be on canals but we had lots of reports of little cherubs waiting in groups and mugging guys for the bike so I may even have to ride on the road , but I just need to get out I'm going mad here

Jesus ..that's bad news if it's got to the stage where the little shits are ganging up ...one or two would have to be prepared to die before I gave mine up ..but how bloody cowardly ..

Great pics as ever Neil, good that you've got out in some of this sunshine. And have to say a selection of old fire roads and fire towers that I don't think I recognise, shall have to have a gander sometime soon. I can see the squirel btw. I'll also give your regards to the fox tomorrow. Enjoy the steak!
