Just been to drop the lad at work and coming back home all you can see in Roojelly at this time on a Sat morning is loads of cars loaded with bikes heading up to Birches. Proper pissed me off, my leg still has a bloody big hole in it and is hurting like a biatch, I daren't go out on it, only stopped leaking on Wednesday. I just know that by next Friday (probably when I can next ride) the weather will have turned shoite again. FFS. I hate being off the bike through injury, I'm wearing shin pads from now on.
Thank you for listening to todays rant. This rant was brought to you by old and pissed off of Rugeley. Please call us on our freephone number for any type of rant at great prices.

I feel your pain mate I'm sat here with a heat bag on my shoulder before I start my Physio movements ,
I have been looking out the window for last two weeks and seeing nothing but sun shine and nice riding weather with a awesome bike in the gaurge that has more dust on it from standing than from on a dry dusty day on the trails .
Will be a couple of weeks yet before I can try the bike and it will just be blankets of rain then I bet .

You may have noticed that I am up at silly o clock writing on this and other threads ..while popping double strength Ibuprofen ... May have taken a couple of steps back in terms of recovery thanks to my young bullock of a son ! We were in Newcastle late afternoon yesterday and had just left the Rugby World Cup fanzone area at the Monument / top of Grey Street ..Wales v Aussies on the big screen and were walking towards Start Cycles ( I wanted to see if they had a 2016 5010 c in stock..and to see what sort of deal could be had ) ..when totally out of the blue my " little " cherub obviously inspired by all the rugger buggers around him decided to shoulder charge me sideways .]Cue one jarred knee once I had landed ..a sharp pain from the medial area ..and the loudest profanity from yours truly! Good job the missus wasn't with us at the time ..and I did get some differing looks from "humoured " to "tut tut what a terrible father kind of looks " A case of short term memory loss on his part ..thanks for the limp son !
