now that I don't really work on Fridays I'm counting that as part of the weekend.
Planning to ride from Clapham up pst ingleborough into Horton and around penny gent, back down the scar descent towards feijoada, loop around the bridle ways, back up the scar and descend back through the tunnels into Clapham.
Clapham North Yorkshire that is, not junction.
This makes up for not being able to ride all weekend as the mrs is off on a girly take that tribute night so I'm out with and looking after my own girls.

HOPING to ride tomorrow with Will and workmates - depending on this leg healing a bit more/me sourcing some shin pads to protect the bastard thing, if not I'm deffo going out around Cannock Chase on Sunday - been nearly 2 weeks off the bike cos of this fecking wound and enough is enough. Found out yesterday why it wasn't healing - saw the nurse at work and got a bollocking. I really should have had it stitched at the time, reason it's been constantly leaking and hurting is it was too wide and deep to heal alone - kept splitting open again around the edges of the scab as I'm bending/lifting stuff. She has put some butterfly's over it and ...hey, presto! as if by magic it's stopped hurting and leaking. What a cock I am - lost a week riding time because I didn't sort myself out properly, typical bloke, as the LHG says.

Unless your leg is hanging off, there is no need for any kind of medical treatment.
I've been out the past two days, going to have a break today.
I've been spending a bit of time at Stile Cop trying to get this jumping lark nailed. I'm getting there, slowly!

Was hoping to have my new bike but still no sign! Plus the rear shock on my stumpy is with TF Tuned so I have no bikes available! Gutted!

Doing the Evans ride over Cannock on Saturday with a couple of mates. Won't ride Sunday as it's my Daughter's 5th Birthday Party, and won't get to ride Tuesday night either as it's her Birthday and got a 'family tea' early evening.

just come back from my second ride of the week. Its great being off when the kids have school. After too many weeks away from the bike its been great to get out while weather is still good. Only problem for me was my arse really hurt for the first 10 mins today but then was fine . Seems to be a common complaint for me when ever I dont ride for a bit. I reckon its time to look for better padded shorts (or MTFU). Planning to sneak another ride in at the weekend.

Sounds like you need a new saddle. Mine's been loads better since I got my ass measured and got a Specialized Henge.

..its the IMBA conference at Kielder ..kicked off yesterday ..with a ride for delegates last night up to Skyspace and the Observatory ( fantastic clear night for this) ..more talking today ( people have flown in from all over the world for this ) An evening meal at Kielder Castle and an award ceremony ( where Kielder Trail Reavers are tipped to pick up something ) . A mini bus ride & bike transport over to Newcastleton and a ride back over to Kielder tomorrow ..culminating in a celebratory BBQ to commemorate 10 years of KTR and trail building in Kielder . Having been at the very first meeting at the Castle before a spade was struck in anger where initial discussions took place ..could I congratulate everyone who has been a part of this ..wether you receive an award or not you deserve a huge amount of credit for making Kielder a world class venue . I am sorry that I won't be part of this weekend ..sometimes I'm too stubborn for my own good ! Have a great time
