Having just lost both of my sunglasses recently ..my " best " ones at the recent Kielder 101 where I dropped them somewhere near my marshalling point on the Lonesome pine trail ..and my bike glasses at Wainhope bothy while checking it out last week ..and as it is coming in to the time of year where I use sunglasses more than any other time due to the low winter sun ..I was given the green light to replace them by the missus ( as my early Christmas present ..so Santa won't be coming for Hodgy !) Got a lovely pair of Oakley Crankshaft at the weekend ..polarised lens .. And these cheapo beauties for riding (on e-bay)....you might mistake me for a bluebottle fly on the trail ...but please don't swat me ! Had to show the Amazon image as the e-bay link was inviting you to order more ...and I have the blue lens .. Pretty nasty huh ..and funny how they are snowboard glasses on this site! www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002MTGB1E/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?qid=1445330043&sr=8-7&pi=AC_SX110_SY165&keywords=rayzor+uv400&dpPl=1&dpID=41U8A6MwCxL&ref=plSrch

yeah it might be me, i sweat alot, thats why i wear the buff to stop sweat running into my eyes and behind the lens. sometimes i need to move my specs way down my nose just to give a huge blast of venting behind the lenses

So they arrived today ..first impressions are that there extremely comfortable ..although I don't really think that I will be using the headband ( though less chance of losing them if I did ) ...but clicks into the frame easily . Plenty of ventilation holes around the frame and padding on the inside ensures a comfy & close fit ..remains to be seen if this causes any steaming up ..but if it doesn't then so far it looks like £13.00 well spent ..even if I look like a complete twat with them on.. More of a review after Saturdays ride ..and I might even post a pic with them on so everyone can take the piss ... Nice carry pouch & cleaning cloth to go with them ..

Taking my lead from Mr Watson on a different thread ..where he is sitting at home in full mtb gear with his new Poc helmet ..waiting for Mondays ride to come around ..it got me thinking that maybe he was on to something .. So here are my new glasses lounge lizard style .. Go ahead laugh if you want ..but this is now my default setting for watching TV at home .. I might even have a shave to complete the look ...

That makes them really comfy to wear and a nice snug fit ..don't know how long it will remain soft and spongy ..and if it will lead to any misting problems ..but I'll know better after tomorrow ..

The only time there was a problem yesterday was when I stopped pedalling ( which was quite often! ) ... The frame has holes all the way around which kept the lens completely clear while moving ..once stopped though I thought I'd gone blind !
