I forced myself out, lovely weather, just bimbled about. Munky is coming over tomorrow so hopefully with company, it'll be better. Todays highlight was......  So it wasn't without merit  |

I feel exactly the same mate shoulder is getting better but it just seems that every time I start getting going with the rides I end up chaining something or having an injury that stops me .been thinking of getting a new bike to bust me into it but just can't do it just in case it doesn't work . I am dreading getting back out and blowing out my Arse after a mile duet to bad fitness . I am really fighting giving it all up selling up

We seem to be having an epidemic of the "fuckitts".
Someone else who we all know and love,... (second thoughts who we all know!?) has also been threatening to retire since he hurt his elbow..
I prescribe a couple of weeks rest then a Group Donkey ride starting at MZ's with a compulsory post ride call at the Plaza.

I have heard the rumblings of this elbow seems a shame to give up just to play C.O.D i am sure Zulu will be fine he just needs to venture out and see different trails as do I , I am sure I'll be ok when me shoulder pain has subsided a bit more . Zulu we will have to have a look at the near by trails east ridge and hopton now and again keep the interest and the fun fresh |

I'm in the same position, again I had a couple of issues that should have only kept me off the bike for a week or two, it's now about 2 months since I was last out on my trail bike and about a month and a half since I last used the DH bike, any time I get close to having the time to get out on it ether again I ether come down with some form of an issue (this week has been an imbalance of the inner ear drum) or I find something else to do. It's now got to the point where I'm thinking of selling one of the bikes and using the money on house renovations :-(

Think ive lost mine, had a few weeks off foul weather life and no bike. Went out not really feeling it despite a new fun bike. Doing a road sportif on Sunday even that im thinking ill do the shorter one which is still 53 miles.
Think its a combination of things but back on the happy pills so hopefully things will pick up!

It's the same cross bike as our old friend gunner used have and would often post up a nice selection of 20 to 30 fence shots per thread so thought we may be having withdraw-symptoms. heres a mtb to make up for that eyesore.  |
