Hi guys have any of you nutters used 0% finance to buy a bike ?
Can you use a company (if any are out there ) just for the finance and purchased the bike separately ?
Would be interested to know if it's possible and of people's experience of these matters .

Bob ..I haven't but the way you suggest would be the way to do it ..if you can source the finance before going in to the dealer ( even if they are offering 0% themselves ) Why ? Well I walked in to a bike shop in Newcastle recently and was enquiring about a Santa Cruz 5010 ..rrp £3999.00 When asking what sort of deal they would do I was told that when I got "serious" they would do a cash deal ..but if I went down their 0% finance route it would be full price ... I haven't as yet taken my search further ..so will also be interested in what other folk have to say ...

I bought my downhill bike on 0% and still managed to get a £500 discount, remember, just like a car dealer shops make commission on credit deals

I used a 0% credit card. That way the shop got their money straight away and gave me 15% off. I had 17 months to pay it off. Everyone a winner but make sure you pay it off monthly otherwise it wrecks your credit score if you don't

0% Credit Card is how I do it.
Yorkshire Bank/Clydesdale have a 36 month 0% card on the go just now

Just thinking really Malamute but if I listen to my head I can't affor a new bike so I will more than likely build a full suss around the bits I have from my on one and then rebuild the on one back up slowly later or get a Fat bike for nex winter which sounds like a fun idea to be honest

Unless you are Macky ..who seems to be a bit of a machine ..I wouldn't like to go too far on one ..didn't float my boat too much when I tried one recently ..and I definitely wouldn't want to do a day ride on one ..
