I get the appeal on snow/sand, but around the UK trail centres.... why not??? the only limit is your imagination...... I have a biking buddy who uses nowt but his fatbike around Kirroughtree/Glentrool..... hasn't stopped him from having fun......

the stunning scenery and skill of the rider adds to the attraction.but id still love to have a proper ride on one.they appeal to me much more than the 26, 27.5, 29 debate.

I've had my fatty nearly a year now and not touched another bike since, I've rode around gisburn trail centre and found it handled everything just fine, two full laps of the 8 where no problem, then I've battered it around the peak district off all the downhills, and done 10hr+ epics with ease, i even did a xc race on it in May, so far this year I've notched up just shy of 2500 miles and 150000ft of ascent/descent on it. All in all it's the best bike I've ever owned even though it is a basic on one fatty, i like it that much my all singing all dancing 5" travel carbon fibre stumpjumper is still in pieces from last winter
