I got a new bike and getting a strange noise from bb area
Changed bb tighten all nuts and bolts still there
Could it be the pedals

I know i aint got a creaky bb cos i just changed it but i have an annoying squeak now and on investigating further i have found out i have a squeaky pedal, it gives out a mousy squeak every upstroke on my left pedal,it wiggles on the inside next to the crank, give your pedals a gentle shoogle at each end to find out

well it took me 3 weeks to find my bb sqweek and it was the seat rails bloody sound traveled so anoying

I had one that drove mad for a while, turned out to be the seat post clamp - cleaned it up and greased the threads, sorted.

It manly happens when I am out if my seat sticking some power down will try the other ideas later

My saint cranks have creaked from day one, only when I'm putting some power in, no amount of grease and tightening has stopped it either, nowt worse than a creak.
