Went out for a ride with Timbo on Sat around Guis, he had forewarned me that it would be wet as Ken, he wasn’t joking. By way of an update for anyone going to ride Guis at the mo, its totally amazing for winter training. If you can master riding the woods in the current conditions you will lose any and all fear of sliding sideways over roots toward trees. Or the other Guisborough Classique that is sliding toward a chest-high-tree-stump-on-burm-exit. Also the steep start of TK is no longer something you have control of, you either make left the turn or go straight into the woods (skip to 1.20 in the below vid for a graphical illustration by Timbo). Sadly the climbs are also slow / claggy / power draining which can be turned into a positive by saying its extra training for the leg guns. It took point blank power washing to remove the mud from the ass of my pants last night, and its still there. I love winter me! Tim did a vid, link below. Fun times!

Your not too far away that I haven't heard about the riding at Guisborough ...but also that you need a local with you to get to the good stuff ..looks good and bet it's a real blast dry & dusty . Looked as slippery as a slippy thing for you lads ..nice vid ..

Great vid amateur - some great riding by you lads too in those conditions - I'd have been off every 5 yards!
