Why are these not as popular as, for example, Nobby Nics?
They are superb tyres that out perform Nobby Nics by miles.

My favorite front tyre. Not tried one on the back though but I imagine it'll would drag a bit

I had it on the front of my spicy and had to run it quite low psi,specially on the first part of the dog or I would wash out really easily.was a decent hard wearing tyre though.

Don't always pay to much attention to reviews.. Make your own mind up I say. Absolutely - but reviews can be an indication before you splash out your hard earned on a squishy piece of rubber that fails to adhere to anything it touches. Caveat Emptor

Caveat Emptor Hmmmm, I kinda agree with that but, anyone reading that review of the Fat Albert are going to stay well clear. Shame because I personally think it's a superb tyre. Horses for course's I suppose.

I'd say they arent as popular due to the (imo)the Magic Mary and Hans Dampf are superior tyres, I'm surprised that the Fat Albert is still in production tbh, it's a fairly old tyre
