What happened to Rosebud?

She just vanished one day. Just like Bigoldfish or whatever his name was..

Not too sure but think I read somewhere that her and someone else had a disagreement then that was it. Never to be seen again.

I tried ages ago mate - had her mobile number for a while (Don't ask) she just never answered - had to give it up in the end. Very strange.

No way.. she actually had a sense of humour.  Gunner couldnt put that on like lipstick

A few of us met her at the Chase one day so she was definitely real. Was one of my fave ppl on the forum and i reckon she was one of most ppls faves, very fuuny lady. I remember some disagreement over a for sale item but that all went a bit weird.

So im sure shes real cuz i nicked all her sweets at Cannock.

Was it? I must have missed that. She gave me (yes, that's right GAVE me) 2 camelbacks, a Hawg and a Lobo, as she had bought an Osprey and preferred that.

I went to Brum to meet her and collect the camelbacks one day that's how I got her number. A few weeks after that she messaged me saying that she was going to give me her Muvi HD action camera and insisted I didn't pay her!!

That was the last I ever heard off her - that was at the same time that she stopped posting on MTBE.  I messaged her a few times asking if she was ok but never got an answer - she just dropped off the face of the earth it seems.  Have always wondered if she was ok or if something bad had happened to her.  I would have just liked to have known she was ok - great girl and as you can see, generous to a fault.

I thought about that and realised I never did know her real name - she was very careful about that. Strange girl in many ways.

I'd say mid forties but then I'm not great with putting an age on people lol

Yeah - would have guessed at late 30's to mid 40's

Possibly - but then that wouldn't explain how I got a text off her saying would I meet her in Brum so she could give me the Muvi HD camera - and then nothing, zilch - even after 5 or 6 texts from me......

last thing she posted (I THINK it was her and not a spoof)....

This is the third time someone has asked me that had a hissy fit, so i am posting this 'Polite Request' to 'Stop asking'



I had two bags that i gave away for free. So i don't know who the blue blazes is going round saying that i sell them, but they are telling you 'Pork Pies'

Could have lost her phone?

It's a strange situation... I also think that it was a bit strange that she dropped out of the forum ride so early on after travelling so far (although she had a lift I believe).

It's almost like she didn't even try!? Nothing wrong with that, maybe she just wanted a moch around the Chase but, I still think it was a bit strange!

If you remember mate we were all at the top of the Blue climb and I dropped back down to find her - she was sweating like she was going to have a heart attack!  I think she just misjudged the type of ride we were doing - I think she just expected a green route.
Last time I saw her she was getting off the train at Roojelly - I met her to get the 2nd camelbak off her - she had dropped a lot of weight by then and was going on longer rides around the Blue routes.
