So given the success and enjoyment of the BPW meet (aside from Andy's unfortunate accident), the mention of the Forest of Dean was thrown about.
My thoughts are in the New Year time, so between mid January and mid February? Cost wise all it'll be is the cost of parking, there is an uplift service, but the push up for the downhill stuff is rideable, unless you're like me and will be much happier to push up, plus there's 2 marked XC trails there to keep us entertained.
So thought's/opinions? Last time we went back in March is was an absolute riot!

Not a fan of pedaling uphill? To be fair, I'm open to riding either. Much prefer the DH though!

I don't mind hills.. I like riding XC to be honest! I just didn't think much of the routes at FoD.

To be fair, I think a weekend would be best. I'll look at finalising a date in December which should give people enough time to sort out time off.

BPW climb/push/crawl up is brutal by comparison.

That's what I'm hoping FFS don't start him off! you don't know what you are messing with here! At Nestle he was known as 'The Beast of Trap 3' You didn't go to the toilets alone...you just didn't!

would be really keen for this. Can we try and avoid the weekends? Fixed that for you Dunc Seriously I can't do any weekend rides atm unless in Cannock. Shame as it's always a great laugh when we all meet up. I want to do FoD too but I'll have to do a midweek trip there sometime. Apart from the obvious - BPW was a great laugh, bloody loved it.

I think this time you should take one for the team as us m-f works took one for the team for you guys and gave up a holiday mate so we could ride with you pez

I don't want to speak for Pez but I think the no weekend riding thing is more to do with spending time with the family rather than work..

Looks like it'll have to come back down to a vote, I'm free for either weekends or weekdays really, one of the few joys of retail.

Cheers Gaz really appreciate that but the weekend ban is of my own doing - I certainly wouldn't expect you m-f lads to give up a holiday cos of that. It's my problem so just ignore me from now on if I start bitching about it again. Beans is quite right I imposed the ban so's I could keep the Mrs and kids happy by not disappearing all weekend. Now she's a m-f worker it just had to be done, I'm afraid.
