One thing I'm sure...I'm NOT getting a Reverb...the Thomson still has the edge I think...from experience and what I read online.

Ok, but do you really use the 3 positions? When do you use the middle one? It's the same with the Thomson and Kev...can stop at any point...ok, but I really only used to have it either all up or down...doesn't really make a difference to me if it has multiple options!

I've only got experience of the Reverb! I've had several and not had any problems with any of them.. Erm, yours doesn't work properly at the minute. Banged your head? He's a fibber Malamute. He was moaning about it last time we were out.

And that is why a mechanical cable operated dropper is more suitable to me...can't really see the point of hydraulic ones in this case! What I would like is Bluetooth...there has been a rumour for over a year that Thomson were releasing one...

What I would like is Bluetooth...there has been a rumour for over a year that Thomson were releasing one... I do agree rl - and for once I can talk from real life experience here. I've had 2 reverbs (first one lasted a month and was a shit experience trying to get Rokshox to replace - they tried to blame me) second one has, after a summer of use, been faultless. I've also had a KS LEV for 18 months - this has been perfect, all I've done to it is fit and forget and it's still giving me no hassle. Operation wise there is not much to choose between them, both smooth up and down, both adjustable, only difference (and it's minor) is the LEV has less lateral movement in the saddle so feels more 'solid'. On a personal front though, I prefer the LEV's cable action to the hydro of the Reverb. The cable action is 'snappier' and it's nice to know it'll never need rebleeding and any problems with cable is a 5 minute cable change job. Never been a fan of the Reverb trigger which looks and feels 'ugly' to me, don't like the comparative slow button return once you let it go. Only thing I prefer on the Reverb is the black post! Again, just my opinion and I'm sure loads (who have never had or ridden a LEV ) would disagree.

Bluetooth dropper!! bloody wow! I'd fancy that. Imagine having your favourite tune play everytime the dropper goes down!
Mr Beans's would probably play this
