Gaz you need the PTH-1 attachment for that Ive one pretty similar to the ebay one you linked sold stand only thing thats annoying me about it was I had to modify it so the jaws wouldnt slip off the metal tube. Keep eyeing up the Team issue park one the PRS-25

I've had the cheap eBay/Amazon one for two or three years now. Was a Christmas present, but I can't remember what year it was
Anyway, it's still working fine. It's used weekly, and gets abused, especially during winter when it gets crap sprayed all over it when my bike is being washed them it's out away wet until the next time
The clamp doesn't have the strength to hold the bike level, the front dips abit but I've seen that with Park Tools stands aswell. I did have to give it a service a few months ago, I just stripped everything off it, wiped clean and regreased so that it was easier to use
Deffo worth the £30 quid!!!

That's the one my mate got! Looks sturdy but also looks exactly like the EBay ones...good thing of the Halfords is the warranty I suppose!?

Yeah, the warranty is probably worth the extra few quid. I had a poke around in Halfords the other day & it looked sturdy enough ...

I've got that X-tools one but with a different brand name on and it has been great. Had loads of use and still going strong.

I've got the Halfords one linked above. Seems sturdy enough - had mine for over 12 months now and it's still going strong. For £35 it's about the same as the ebay ones but with the added bonus of being able to take it back if it's not right or breaks....

As long as you don't go and try to hang a bloody Orange off it, it'll last forever. Mind you a JCB would creak and groan with an Orange hanging off it

Just as i was about to order the work stand...i see this?! 25 quid, 3 year warranty, german...worth a try if i can get my hands on one of these?! www.lidl.co.uk/en/our-offers-2491.htm?id=795&ar=10The track pump is amazing value for money...my Topeak which is as robust as that one looks was much more expensive.

Exactly the same workstand I have, had to tweak the part that grips from the clamp to the bar bar that cant really fault it

Its not the clamp as such more the blue bit that clamps to the grey metal shaft. I took it off an added some friction paste only because mine slipped off rather suddenly.

So...I was there at Lidl 10 minutes before opening...shadow boxing and warming up, ready for a scrap! However no one came and I was the first in...loads of workstands! LOL... I've just put it up and...I CANT BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT IS! 25 quid for all that!?!? It's well put together, really stable, heavy and robust...it even has a magnetic tray which is a great add on! With 3 year warranty! It's a no-brainer really! Also got the wife one of those helmets which are also great value for money, specially for the amount of time she actually rides...the integrate light is a great feature.

Surely is mate! Being from Lidl, I guess it is probably German and we all know about their products!? To clean the bike and sleep in the garage, it is more than enough! Very happy with it!

They're not bad... I had last years without the lever clamp, and it can get a bit awkward getting the frame in.. This looks a big improvement!..
