As anybody done any of these, I fancy the peaks one in June and maybe the lakes and North Yorks moors. Only thing that puts me off along with needing to increase my climbing tolerance by a couple of thousand foot is that 40 to 45% is done on roads/lanes.
I would be looking at doing the first on my hardtail and if it looks doable then trying the CX.
Having not heard back from the Ard Rock yet I'm keen to get something in my diary as a bit of motivation. At 65/70 miles for the full Masiif its probably more of a motivation to get fitter than the Ardrock would be and seem more reasonably priced at £25/30 as well. I think the Ardrock is making the most of the current demand by pumping us for £56.
I'm not an Ardrcok hater by the way, I really enjoyed it last year and thought it was an excellent event.
