Yeah going to be interesting. Especially as the weather has buggered up the parking arrangments - can no longer use the sports club field.

Take it easy Gaz - don't rush coming back. I'm undecided as my knee is giving me some greif.

Fking pissed off I'm actually glad you have seen sense for once - why feck up a whole summer for the sake of one ride? there are other rides, all summer long - there are no rides, all summer long if you go against what the saw bones tells you. It ain't a hard decision to me!

That's my thinking Pez. No point in wrecking yourself for 1 ride - it's only the beginning of March! Especially if you're looking forward to any of bigger rides - like Helvellyn. A few lads from work are looking to do this the end of April and I'm considering it - hence not stressing too much if I miss tomorrows ride just so I can get my knee sorted.

Well that's it - I think I'm out of this... Been for a 'gentle' ride on the bike at the gym lunchtime and anything other than really light pedalling is causing me pain I'm not risking either knackering my knee or getting stuck - so looks like I'll have to have a crack next year.

Sense & sensibility rule ..ok Think you both made the right decision . Talking of knees ..I had an appointment with my doc to discuss my recent X-Ray result on Friday These days they call it osteo-arthritis in the old days it was called wear & tear ..apparently all over the knee . Doc says do as much as I can bear with the pain and take painkillers prior to excercise.. Didn't rule me out of playing badminton ..might give it a try but if I can't get back to the standard I was at ..I'm not going to bother ..
