The bike looks great, I hope it rides as good as it looks.
I don't have bike OCDs like yourself but have to say the cables could do with a shortening or some might be okay length wise if they are routed properly it currently looks a bit weird and like spaghetti junction.
the right hand gear shift should normally come around the head tube and down the left side and left brake should be around the head tube and down the right. Front brake hose needs shortening a bit. Also did you want your dropper specifically on the right as it's a bit congested with the gear shift and brake, most people tend to have it on the left of the bar, so two cables left around to the right and two from the right one around the head tube and down to the deralaliur the other down to the front brake.

I think you are correct in all you say actually! I think the cables are a bit of a mess and could use with some shortening...and some don't look like they are going in the right way tbh...previously I had the dropper on the left, but asked for it to be on the right now. But it might have been a bad idea to be honest and it might go to the left soon...ill ride it for a bit and then see how I feel! The top headset cap also needs aligning...it's not right that way!...and the ODI caps a tweak too!...LOL

Yeh that gear cable and rear brake routing would do my head in, strange they've done it that way.
If you move the dropper over it should then route to the right of the head tube it looks like it needs a good length taking out of it as well.
I tend to use the first guide as it comes in then the cables cross on the middle guide and then the gear cable would finish on the right hand guide and brake on the left. That's if the frame as the typical two or three groove cable guide slots.

They will probably do mine tbh...but I think it might also need a further 5mm cut on the steerer...I'm running 15mm under, and I think 10 is the limit it should have...it would help to reduce the "slackness" a bit! I think if they had it routed differently as you say, the cables might even be fine!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments...I'm really happy with the complete jigsaw...I really just hope it rides well and suits me! And any carbon bike with the same spec would cost considerably more which also makes me happy!

Can't really add anything to what has already been said - I would also suggest giving flats a go though, for no other reason than flats would add another 0.5% of gnarl to what is already a gnarltastic machine.

You were right mate...changed the dropper remote to the left and its much better... I'm taking the bike to Evans tomorrow to get the shifter cable shortening since it is way too long...and a front brake bleed because it's losing pressure and going soft! Ready for "Mad Monday Ride"

Ask them to look up how route the cables before they shorten them.
Sorry can't help mention it again. It's a shame on such a lovely build for then to have have a weirdly shoddy job with that cable routing. It's a odd that a mechanic would make such a basic error of judgement to have 3 controls one side and one on the left.
Lovely trim job on the Privett by the way.
